#'rates' bug.

Hi Jim, Excellent program! I had a few problems logging on the first couple
of times because of my permnent settings on CIS. But after reading the Whap!
messages, everything seems to be going well so far, except one thing that only
non-Americans will find out.
The docs say that you create a directory for the various parameter files and
then ASSIGN WHAP: to this directory.
The problem is with the 'rates' file. Instead of having Whap! look at WHAP:
for the rates, it seems to be looking at the current directory. So what I was
doing was CD'ing to vd0: then loading Whap! from df1:. When Whap! looked for
the 'rates' file (my Canadian rates file was also in df1:), it looked in vd0:
and didn't find it. So (I think?) it loaded the default American rates. BTW, I
ASSIGNed WHAP: to df1:.
I was wondering if you can have Whap! look for 'rates' in WHAP: instead of
the current directory, just like the other parameters. BTW, I am presently
using V1.1D. Another request is: can you please put the version number of Whap!
in the title bar?
My money order is n the mail……
Luciano,
You caught one! Jim Marias had a similar problem.
I don't think this is significant enough to warrant a 1.3D but will
definitely be fixed in the registered version.
Thanks for the report.
Best,
