A quick question about Access! — Is there a way to get it to default
to 1200 baud upon loading so I don't have to set the baud at each use?

Easiest fix is to set your preferences to the 'default' baud you'll be using.
Try deleting the default set up string in Access! after that. That _should_ do
it.
