Commercial product? More info somewhere? Does the DXF convertor handle
symbols? R12 stuff?
>>We've already assembled dozens of megabytes of public domain 3D objects

far, this means 3D Studio .3DS, AutoCAD DXF, LightWave, Imagine TDDD, and

Any of those formats include normals for smooth polys? I do RenderMan,
which can handle arbitrary non-flat polys, but it wants the normals.
Certainly hope plain old .RAW triangles wil be in there for Steve Anger's
workhorse utilities.

Furniture would be nice, and heads & body parts. Animals, vehicles. No
interest in simple geometry. You are aware, I would assume, that
ViewPoint's released sets can't be resold. Probably not Mira's, either.

So, how close to the right price are you planning to get? #8+]
