Dave, I bought an AMT (Advanced Matrix Technology) ACCEL-500 about three months ago. I was upgrading from a 9 pin Epson FX-85. The ACCEL-500 is a 24 pin color capable printer. I use the EpsonQ driver and everything works fine. The printer is very easy to program. I often reprogram the printer for a quick job instead of going into preferences. I can't give you the exact draft or LQ speeds as I am in between houses now and the books are still in a box somewhere. I am sure that draft is over 180 though. I think you can find the printer for about $1200. They were advertising in Personal Computing magazine for several months. If you need more info let me know and I will give my local dealer (San Diego, Ca) a call as he carries the printer. I talked with him the other day and says that he has not had any complaints from the folks who bought them and he has sold quite a few. Steve Grandona

Sounds like a great printer! It does seem a little out of my price range though! Thanks.
