Andre, If motherboard v4.5 has a change to accommodate the A2620 board, and since I'm considering adding it to my A2000, will I have to have this resistor installed on my v4.3 board? Or would it be more advantageous to replace the motherboard again, this time with 6.0? thanks, chris

The resistor costs a fraction of a dollar, while the motherboard will cost anywhere from $200-$500 to replace (depending on who does it). You be the judge. However, all A2620s should have this bus transceiver resistor installed on the m'bd, since it helps avoid contentions with other devices like the controller cards. andre
