I'm curious about your statement that you have 18,000 pages on your PC
cartridge. We have a thousand or so pages on our new LC890 and would
appreciate tips on how you can extend the life of the PC cartridge. Where do
you remove the excess toner from?

One of my Tech people did the work for me, but he took a piece of black
plastic,put tape on the edges. He the covered the cartridge to block out the
light. He then drilled a small hole in the corner of the toner well. He then
removed the toner and place a piece of tape over the hole. It worked like new.
We also reset the counter on the LC-890. If you need more details I will be
glad to get the answers. A extra

Thanks for the info on the LC890. It seems like NEC screwed up in the design
if that is all you have to do to get more life out of the PC Cartridge.
