Richard, I would echo what Don told you – the Commodore-supplied
Preferences driver works well. You might also be interested in some
third-party Deskjet drivers from a company called Creative Focus. They
posted a driver called Better_DJ that I think is in the libraries here, and
they sell an even better one called Super_DJ that they claim has many
advantages over the Commodore driver. I should point out, however, that I
stopped using the Better_DJ driver because it does not handle the alternate
character set properly, which the Commodore driver does. I don't know if
the Super_DJ driver implements the alt set or not. You can find an ad for
