Yeah, I don't like Ben's (coding) style, either. Too much wasted vertical
space. I stick with Unix / K&R style too. It's consistent, and I thought it
matched Ben's criteria for "obvious" readability, as I read his article. What
the world really needs is an ultimate beautifier with a zillion user
customizable settings that can reshape code to one's own style. I haven't seen
it yet. I use only four spaces of indentation, not eight. – John Foust
