Hi Claude,thanks for the info….the Netcomm M5 modem I have requires that
there is nothing other than the number you wish to dial(modifiers excepted like
the P for pulse,or commas for a pause) after the D command…then again I guess
this Hayes command set is a little like the RS232 standard(whatever suits
them!).

Brenden, You are welcome. Does your modem automatically check for MNP or does
it have an S register that you can set for the mode?
If everyone stuck to a 'standard' there would be no fun. 🙂
