#2088 problems

I have a 2000 with a recently installed 2088 Bridgeboard. I also have a
problem. After I jlink and create a virtual disk on my 50 meg hard drive, I can
EDLIN and create files, and I can generally copy files from a: to the virtual
drive. However, once I leave PC and return, I can't access anything that is
there. I can jlink again, but when I try to access a file there, I get "hung"
in DOS. I don't get a cursor back, and I get only a brief spurt of drive
activity, then nothing. I can exit and use the Amiga side of the world just
fine, but not PC. I can re-boot PC and use it, but not the informaiton on the
hard drive. Am I missing something simple here?

Yes…it's not documented, but it's a fix for your problem:
1. when you create the jlinked virtual drive FILL IT UP, all the way
with anything you can find.
2. Once you've got it as full as you can, unlink it.
3. Now that you've unlinked it, re-link it and delete all the files you
just used to fill it up.
You can now use it without worry, your problems should go away.
