I have a Zeos VLB With the SCSI option, my question is this, If I get at Texel or NEC Drive would I be better off using the on board SCSI port or one from a sound board, Also if I'm not into games what would be the best sound board for this situation, Microsoft, Pro Audio 16? Mike.

Either one should work fine. If you buy a higher-end sound board, it will most likely have a SCSI HA on it anyway, you can use it or not. Cabling might be a good sight cheaper if you use the sound card. Getting those SCSI cables with 4 and 4 connectors on them can get expen$ive. The PAS is a proven quantity that does an excellent job, I'm not sure the Microsoft board is quite what you are looking for…. -Bill
