#AmigaVision!

Ok, I figure that MAYBE some people have Amigavision, and that they could
help me with a problem. I can't get music files to find their
instruments…The computer keeps asking for "install volume
Instruments"…and I defined it in the instrument path where the
instruments are…help!
-Adam….
As a guess (I *don't* have AmigaVision… Yet… 🙂 I would say that it's
looking for a disk called "Instruments" or a directory with an assign
pointing to it labeled "Instruments". (ie. something like:
assign Instruments: dh0:stuff/myinstruments
…to set it up or something similar…)

Adam,
I've been having problems with Sonix music and instruments. I think
that maybe it is not compatible with Sonix?

Sonix scores are generally normal SMUS scores, and should therefore work
with Amigavision, but Sonix *instruments* is a totally different ballpark,
and will not. If you have normal IFF instruments of the same name as those
used in the Sonix score, then those will do the trick.

Steve,
Thanx. This should help a lot of AV users out there. The manual does
not help w/this at all. I guess the program's author's were not aware of
the popularity of Sonix. I use it far more than DeluxeMusic.

you have been having problems with the instuments, right? the songs work,
and you have to assign the instruments to a directory (assign instruments:
dh0:art&music/music) and then when the instruments are loaded, it's not a
compatible file. I gotta find out more about this, but is this basically
the same problem you have?? ` -Adam
Adam,
Yes == I have been having problems loading the instruments. Steve
Bennett indicates that Sonix instruments do not work. You must substitute
them for DeluxeMusic type instruments.
