The majority of the problems with the 'expression too complex' error have
been fixed. However, there are a few cases (such as yours) where the error
still pops up (even with -mr). The workaround is to simplify the
expression. -There are still some problems with SDB in 5.0b, however we've
fixed the nastiest of them (such as crashing upon startup). We hestitated
to do extensive work on the current SDB, as we plan to have a heavily
revamped SDB in the next rev of the compiler system. -I haven't looked at
the 3.6 PI example myself, so I'm not sure what it's doing. I'll take a
look at it and see exactly what's going wrong.
