Shame, maybe furture versions will be able to output stand alone programs. Typical. Commodore manuals are turning into walk-throughs, but, I think to beginners (to commodore computers or computers in general), its easier to learn that way. In a few months or so, the libraries I expect the libraries to become flooded with AV programs, so ci$ is going to be very VERY happy. But that inventory manager sounds REALLY interesting, maybe when more people get AmigaVision….

Funny… I could be wrong, but I was just thinking that we'd probably not see many AV uploads… the sheer size would be daunting, I'd think. Perhaps I'm wrong. You guys with AV! How big is the created stuff you've done so far?

Another example of me writing a message at the wrong time, in this case I was too happy for my own good (no traffic jams on my way home!!!). Uploads are free, I see no reason why people wouldn't upload there creations. Its not like CanDo, where only a select group has it, AV, comes with every Amiga. Size? Well, I don't have it yet but I assume that they are pretty big, people have a tendancy to add tons of graphics, sounds, and "useful" features to their creations. That's true (uploads are free). Does AV handle ANIM files? Can it create them? I'm thinking about compression of data, of course. thx!

AmigaVision supports the ANIM5 standard. It can't create them. AmigaVision also has the ability to execute external programs; any program cli or workbench type. Folks this is a super program. I can't wait till v2.0 🙂 -mark=
