#Desktop Budget Bug Fix?

When is Desktop Budget going to be fixed. (It still can't calculate a
balance correctly and I have to go in and patch the balance in the act file
– real pain). It seems to be connected to auto payments, though I can't be
sure.

My version of DesktopBudget is dated January 89, how do I get the newest
version? Also is there an update coming for Advantage? it's sorely needed.

Yes, there is a newer DTB. Send me your original disk, and I will mail you
a new one. As far as Adv. goes, I'm in full agreement, and a copy with
fewer bugs (the major ones corrected) and extended 1-2-3 support is coming.

I've got a 10/14/89 version. I think the problem is tied to accnts that are
fed by auto transactio that are also split or possibly the problem comes in
when the transactions for that account are editted. I haven't been able to
figure out the pattern yet and get the same number as the program.
I have figured out (partially) the .act files and have patched the correct
balance in a couple of times, but when I add another monts worth of checks
and reconcile the balance is off by some wierd amount again.
