It sounds like you would be a good person to ask. I have an A2620 (68020)
board in my A2000. Would the bridgeboards have any problem with it? I
prefer not to have to boot up in the 68000 mode if it is avoidable.
Anyone else or Thomas too, does Amax have any problem with boards like the
A2620 that speed up the Amiga side of things?

I had a minor problem with the GVP 68030 acclerator and the 80286 Bridge:
GVP's board "de-couples" from the Amiga so that it can run an high
multiples of the Amiga clock. This (I believe) is what made my machine
difficult to reboot with ctrl-Amiga-Amiga (from a guru). I switched to the
Commodore 68030 accelerator, and the problem went away.
Even the original version of AMax had no trouble with the 68030 boards and
since the original version is all that's out right now, it's probably the
one you own.
I know you asked about the Commodore 68020 accelerator. I believe that
what is true for the 68030 boards (in terms of compatibility) would be true
for the 68020, in general. There are some copy-protected games I own that
do not run on my 68020, but which others report running okay on their
68030s. Neither AMax nor the Janus libraries use the type of
copy-protection involved, so I very, very strongly doubt there would be a
problem.

I have the A2630 board in my Amiga with the AT Bridgeboard, and they work
together just fine. I don't boot up in 68000 mode – just go from the /030
to the BB any time I like.
