Thanks for the feedback. What is it exactly that you do?

No problem… I hope I was out of line butting in like that.
I'm a Manufacturer's agent and marketing consultant. What I "do", is sell
things & ideas.

Michael,
so I guess "you're moving through a dimension of mind… of things and
ideas…"

some times it feels more like I'm 'stuck' in a dimension of mind… of
things and ideas.

Its never butting in when you have something to contribute.
I guess doing what you are doing, you see your share of dog and pony
shows, or at least, slide shows. Out of curiousity, are you seeing any
video out there? Presently, thats what I'm doing at my day job – doing
canned presentations using Amiga animation (quick and cheap to update)
"dumped" to video. Our first effort is a 401(k) retirement plan video,
which is pretty dry. On the other hand, I've heard that a competitor's
slide show is much worse…

Jonathan:
I am seeing more and more video out there in the 'everyday' business
sector. That why I jumped in to your thread when I did. Video is popping
up in some very unexpected places…
Thrift Drug (a 450 store Drug Store chain, based in Pittsburgh) decided
last year to present their Christmas merchandising program to their
individual stores via a 2 hour video presentation (in lieu of the printed
format used in the past.)
Each buyer wrote and appeared in a section of the video, showing examples
of how to merchandise Christmas product, pointing out what was new,
reviewing pricing, ticketing, and signage procedures…
That's the kind of thing that's going on… all over the place.
