I have an A2500/30 with fully populated A2630 and A2091 and I can get six (ALL of the fast RAM) megabytes contiguous. I'd be surprised (well maybe not) if Commodore put 16 bit memory on the A2630. I think there might be some special conditions, but judging from the A500 boards that I have seen, I would guess that it is almost impossible to get a large chunk of memory on an A500 with or without an MMU (or two). Lee, We were discussing this in AmigaTech CO a couple of nights ago. There is no reason why 16 bit and 32 bit memory cannot be merged IF both are of the same attribute type and there isn't a big "hole" in the address space. The problem may be in the MergeMem program itself.
