I have an A2500/30 with fully populated A2630 and A2091 and I can get six
(ALL of the fast RAM) megabytes contiguous. I'd be surprised (well maybe
not) if Commodore put 16 bit memory on the A2630.
I think there might be some special conditions, but judging from the A500
boards that I have seen, I would guess that it is almost impossible to get
a large chunk of memory on an A500 with or without an MMU (or two).

We were discussing this in AmigaTech CO a couple of nights ago.
There is no reason why 16 bit and 32 bit memory cannot be merged IF both
are of the same attribute type and there isn't a big "hole" in the address
space. The problem may be in the MergeMem program itself.
