Amiga to Mac

Does anyone know of a way to get 24bit iff pictures to display on a
Macintosh with a 24bit color board? Can I use a program like Cross-Dos to
make an IBM disk to be read on the Mac? What utilities do I need to get the
picture in a format that is usable by the Mac?

You can probably use something like Art Department Professional to convert
the IFF image to TIFF format (I *think* TIFF has support for a 24 bit
mode…) and then use Cross-Dos or Messy-Dos to copy the file to an IBM
disk, then on the Mac use Apple File Exchange to read the IBM disk
(assuming, of course, that the Mac in question has the 1.4 Meg drive, not
the 800K drive…), or use something like Dos-2-Mac (I think that's what
it's called) to copy direct to a Mac disk. Presumably you have some kind
of TIFF viewer on the Mac to view the image.
