Hello,
I am looking for more information on the Philips CDD 521 CD-ROM burner. The
topic of most interest would be developers kits. Does any one know of any
developers kits for the 521. We have three different authoring systems now
and none of them have all of the features we need.

I'm a little confused. Are you looking for authoring systems to generate
applications, or for formatting software to create discs on the CDD-521?
If you're looking for formatting software, I can tell you about some we use
(& sell).

I was looking for the low level command set for the CDD-521 so that I can
write my own CD-ROM authoring system. We have tried 4 different packages
and all have flaws that (for one reason or another) make them un-acceptable
for our application. I was able to get a hold of the product coordinator
for the burner and I am told that the commands are on the way.
