Tim, The ROM's are being made, no idea when they'll be released….one would presume it will be soon. Don

The latest rumor I heard was that 2.0 ROMs would be announced at AmiExpo Florida next week. We'll see. What *I'M* more interested in is when 2.0 will be available for those of us still clunking along with our wimpy little A2000's! 🙂 – via Whap!

And, that is the *only* important bench mark of 2.0, as regards it's release. Providing yet another release (even if in ROM) to 3000 owners means little or nothing to developers. When the 2000 and the 5000 (and, hopefully the 1000) have 2.0 capability, then we can begin exclusive support of the new OS, and the Amiga will move into a new era of higher reliability software and greater usability as regards the mouse interface; looks of application will improve and become more consistant (easier ot use) and finally, IBM'ers, Mac'ers, and Next'ers won't throw up on the floor when they see the GUI… We may finally have a chance.
