Mouse Replacement

One too many double clicks has taken its toll on my mouse and I'm looking
for a replacement. I'm leaning toward a cordless rodent and would
appreciate any suggestions.

I too am looking for alternatives to my mouse. Preferably a trackball.
Anyone have any good suggestions for trackballs?

if you can find an old Atari game system trackball, they are great – but
require a tiny mod inside to work right as Amiga mouse substitutes. i've
been using mine for about 5 years problem free.

I'm using a Logitech Trackman. They've got a newer version out now that
confirms to the shape of a hand better. It's a IBM bus compatible version
that I re-did for the Amiga. You'll have to cut off the IBM connector, and
put on a 9-pin DIN connector. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a
connector with a narrow enough hood to fit in the A2000 mouse jack area.
Go to AMIGAFF and search under the keyword MOUSE. I believe there's a file
listed that shows the pin conversion.

I also modified a Logitek Trackman bus mouse for use on the Amiga.
It worked fine until I wore a flat spot on one of its rollers. There was
an article in one of the recent Amiga magazines on how to make an adapter
cable for connecting PC type bus mice to an Amiga, complete with part
numbers and where to get them.
Since the Logitek bit the dust, I've been using a KRAAFT trackball.
Not quite as good as the Logitek, but it least it doesn't run into the mess
on my desk the way mice do.

Would you by any chance know where to get replacement switches for the C=
mouse? I remember seeing a posting with the part number and mfgr. but can't
find it now. If you know where to get them, or if someone else reads this
and knows, I would sure appreciate the info.
