Who knows where to find 1.XX MB High Density Floppy Drives for the Amiga?
It's the only thing my 3000/Toaster/AmaxII+ lacks . . . . .
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

how/where/ what/why/cost/part #, etc.

TO ALL,
Well, in talking to C= yesterday, I think I have found out the real problem
with the HighDensity (HD) drives. WB2.04 will support the drive in DF0:
only. When the flood of orders came in for the drives, C= filled as many
as they could. People started poping these puppys in their machines in the
space avaible – DF1:. It wouldn't operate corectly in HD mode so here now
comes the flood of repairs??? Lets stop this say C= until we get it
supported in other possible mounting spots.
This is my guess from how my questions got answered. My question was why
will my HD drives (I have 2) work perfectly in DF0:, but neather will work
corectly in DF1: The answer was that they are not supported in DF1: but
will probably be with the release of WB2.1 which should be in 3 to 6 weeks.
When asked about the cost or upgrade for 2.1, they hadn't decided if the
Gold Service would supply free to those of us still under their service or
we will all have to pay. I was told it would be released in both rom and
software upgrades. More when I hear!!!.

I've had the CBM HD floppy on order from my dealer for about three months
now. At least it is showing up on his backorder list from CBM!
