#A1000/Rejuv. Expansion

Has anyone tried adding a SCSI/Ram card to a rejuvinated 1000 ? I now have
two different card/combinations from ALF trying to run from an 86pin to 100
pin adapter off the bus. I can run the memory alone or I can run the SCSI
alone, but when I try to run them both, it always configures the memory
(2megs) but loses the SCSI. Any ideas why I can't get both ? Running in a
A1000 with 2 meg Rejuvinator, DKB switch start, booting under 2.04. Both
SCSI cards are ALF. Running a Quantum 105LPS. HELP !!!!
Is the DKB board the Kwikstart or the Multistart that goes in the 500/2000?
I have got a Starboard 2 and an Supra SCSI on my rejuvenated 1000 and it
works fine. Richard
THe DKB Board is the MULTISTART for the 500/2000. My problem seems to be
with the memory existing on the same board as the SCSI.
Paul,
I succesfully used a Xetec HD interface withe the Rejuvenator.
Does your XETEC have any fast memory on it ? I can get a SCSI board to work
fine alone, but not with memory expansion on the bus connector.
Paul,
I had Fast RAM and the HD controller on the bus. Worked fine…
Denny, Did you install either the 68010 or the 68HC000 like Expert Services
suggested in the isntallation. I've run the extra leads on the bottom of
the mother board, but didn't change chips. Expert services blames the
mother board. Prespect blames the Rejuvinator. And I'n about to shoot my
1000 to end everybody's
misery ! Thanks for the replies. Paul
Paul,
Actually, I had an AdSpeed in the 68000 socket… Sorry.
I have an AdSpeed stacked on top of a Spirit board. Works for most
programs.

Just got through putting in more ground wire runs and a 5Kpull up resistor
decribed in Amiga world a while back. It didn't do a thing. I still have to
choose the memory on th emulti-funciton card, or go back to my SCSI only
card. I have a 68010 on the way. If that doesn't work, I give up. Prespect
Technics says they have some memory manager that will let me use part of
the hard drive as RAM. Slow, I suppose. But better than nothing.
