Has anyone out there suffered through Colorado Memory Systems Jumbo 120 troubles? I recently installed one in my 486/66 VLB (video+I/O), and have had many wierd problems: Crosslinked files resulting in complete hard drive crash (probably not related, but happened right after the CMS was installed) LOTS of errors reading (writing?) tapes. Last night I tried an incremental backup on a tape that has lots of incrementals on it already, and I got an error telling me to re-format the tape. As far as I can tell, this tape backup is SO unreliable that it hardly qualifies as a backup for anything. It is also a critical TGA file storage medium for me right now, and I need the &*(*%*ing thing running ASAP. I would really appreciate any help I can get. Sympathy also accepted (g). ^.^ jt

John, I've been using a CMS 120 for years, it works great, although I did experience quite a few problems using SONY tapes. I highly reccommend 3M tapes. James

Thanks for the reply. I thinks it's Central Point stuff that's conflaggerating the setup. I use Maxell tapes, lifetime warranty. ^.^ jt
