Look who's talking. Jerry Fallwell pours out of his mouth and he points the
finger at someone else. Listen, Jim, let's just gather up all those
anti-American punks and Libbers and send them back to the Old Country where
they came from! Skinheads uber alles! Kill the Muslims! Teach white Anglo-Saxon
Creationism in all schools. God spoke American English when instructing the
Elohim to build the world! Right on! Well, Right, at any rate. FAR Right!
That's an explitive in *my* book!
David….When did I ever say _Anything_ about Jerry Fallwell….Lord! he hasn't
been in the News Since the Mid-80's….You _do_ know what Year this is don't
you Comrade?<g> I think you've missed a couple of Cell mettings somewhere along
the Ol' Party line.
James.
Hey, just because he isn't in the news since his scandals doesn't mean his
spiritual children aren't still out there spreading His Word. Let's face it,
the New Right (koff, choke!) is a direct spin-off from Jerry, Jim Bakker and
the other "men in the brown suits" that Frank Zappa used to punish his kids
with by making them watch 'em on TV. Of course, it *is* true that I'm not
keeping up on the names of the current favorites, other than Lush Ripoff and
whoever else might make a big splash with the 30,000+ person bakes sales and
stuff, but I don't feel very guilty about it. Despite my Judeo-Christian
background. Silly me, *I* still listen to people who consider tolerance,
forgiveness and charity to be ideals. HOW OLD FASHIONED of me!!!! How
CHRISTIAN! No WONDER I'm on the fringes of society! (Slaps forehead) HOW could
I have been so blind?!?!?!

David you seem to have a tendency to try to put words in others mouths as well
as bring up examples of people and attitudes I do not nor have I ever aggreed
with or espoused. While doing this you try to associate me with these
instances.. Can't you focus on the original topic?<g>
The original topic "not that it seems to matter to you" was Bill Clinton and
his Tax and Spend form of Government. Since we really should be discussing 3D
Studio related items on this forum I'm reluctant to bring this up but I
understand that is what the Take 5/General forum is all about.
I'll Try once more to help you focus….Concentrate Comrade <g>
Just ta really Pi.. Ya off. I'm Gonna Quote Rush H. LimBaugh, III OK!
"We are constantly reminded by the media how people spent profligately and
consumed obscenely–how the rich got richer and the poor got poorer–under
Reagan. Don't you believe it. Don't let the liberals deceive you into
believing that a decade of sustained growth without inflation in America
resulted in a bigger gap between the haves and the have-nots. Figures compiled
by the Congressional Budget Office dispel that myth. A review of income and
inflation figures during both the Carter and Reagan years reveals how much the
American people prospered under Reagan, and how much they suffered financially
under Carter. The report studies incomes from 1979 to 1983, the four-year
period under Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan and also the latter period of the
Reagan administration. How can anyone ever forget the Carter years, which gave
new meaning to the phrase "misery index?" There was double-digit stagflation,
gasoline lines, and interest rates were up 20 percent. The poorest fifth of
the population had a drop of 17 percent in real family income during the Carter
administration. Now ask yourself: Why are these years never cited a dreadful,
mediocre years? That's easy. Liberals love misery. It makes them feel
necessary. And believe me everyone was miserable. Such was not the case in
the eighties and that, to them, was just too darned unfair.)Contrast this with
the period from 1983 to 1989, the years of full-blown Reaganomics, during which
the poorest 20 percent of the population saw their income rise 12 percent. The
righest fifth of the population also saw their income rise 12 percent. On a
percentage basis, it is simply untrue that the poor got poorer under Reagan.
In fact, family income levels rose across the board during the Reagan years."
End of Quote.
I could go on but it wouldn't do me any good because you don't want the facts
David _You've_ got _Your_ mind made up.<g> The Bottom line is.. here we have
Bill Clinton trying to Out-Jimmy Carter Jimmy Carter and people who would
rather "Feel" Than "Think" are saying, "Sounds Good to them".
I see that I'm starting to become effected by your over emotionalism so I'm
gonna stop…for now…Comrade Taffet.<g>
