I have the Internet address of a friend. The problem is that his
user name is either wrong or non existant. To whom do I leave mail on the
system to find out what his usser name is??? Is it postmaster or something
else??

Everybody is required to have someone answering to the address "postmaster",
but I think you'll find that some sites aren't willing to give out their users
addresses. At least, the few times I've tried it I've always run into that
situation.
