You are right the only official drive to connect to the current version of
SBPro is the Panasonic although people have connected the Mitsumi LU005S to the
card but in order to get the sound output you need to actually reverse a couple
of pins in the connector. If you know what your doing and dont mind perhaps
invalidating any warranty existing on your card this is one way of doing it.
I understand that there is a new version of the Souncard called Soundblaster
Pro Deluxe which will have the Mitsumi interface onboard.
Choose a drive for its specification and not for compatability with SBPro,
unless you havent got a spare slot of course!!
