My driver works fine, but whenever I load it, I cannot access my A-Drive or
B-Drive. Per instructions from your hotline, the load command omits an IRQ
specification, and the messages which appear during boot contain a "No IRQ"
line and no error messages. But, if I try to access A or B using Windows file
manager or even Native DOS 6.0, I get a parity error message and my system
hangs. The only recovery is to reboot. Needless to say, this is very
inconvenient, and I don't even know where to start looking for the problem;
BIOS? CMOS? Hardware? DOS 6.0? I can't even tell what software is issuing the
parity error message. Any leads will be appreciated.
It sounds like you are having IRQ problems. Try changing the jumper position
at DACK2 to another DACK position on the jumper block and see if that helps at
all.
If that doesn't work, then your motherboard may just be incompatible with the
LL upgrade method.
