I have received my SCSIworks!. If you ever get any complaints about shipping,
tell them that I was DELIGHTED to receive mine in 10 days for only $40
shipping. (I'm 10 time zones away from where you are.)
As we discussed before, I need to have a custom cable made up (PAS 16 to SJIIc
to NEC-84). There's a technician here who can physically make a cable, but I
need to tell him the pin connections. Can you recommend a reference source
showing the standard SCSI conductors & pins? Specifically I need the connection
from a 50-conductor ribbon cable to the 25-pin "D" connector. I don't guess it
would be anything easy, like 1-25 = 1-25? And then, are the other 25 conductors
left open, shorted, or bypass the 25-pin connector?
I would appreciate any information from you, or anyone, or if you could point
me in the right direction.

The easiest thing is to just use a standard MAC compatible 25 to 50 pin SCSI
cable. On your SCSI drive, you can then just use a 50 pin SCSI connector to a
standard 50 pin header connector. That's much easier than trying to make up a
special cable.
