I have a drive that is "XA READY" and a driver that lets me read single session Photo CD … but do I need more (like an XA chip in the drive or the soundcard) to play XA titles. I also have the Multimedia Publsihing Studio CD-ROM Product guide from IBM which has some new XA titles that (ALAS) will only play on the Sony MMCD player. IBM says there is a special driver (hardware) in the MMCD player that has something to do with fonts. They also said that this driver could be emulated. Are there any other XA titles out there that might play on my CD-ROM and does anybody make a test disk that might let me see if I can play XA titles. Does the MPC Wizard disk from ARIS do this? A recent Windows magazine (February) says you can get 16 hours of auido on an XA interleaving makes video much more synchronized. I have yet to see any of this and would very much like to. I also have a brochure called DVI multimedia but as far as I can tell I have to have the Action II Media card to play any of these. Is the DVI chip in any sound cards or CDROM drives yet? Any DVI titles out there? -Mark
