As always we wait until the last minute to do everything. Sooooo we are looking for suggestions/phone numbers of hotels close to the Disneyland Park for the week of Siggraph. Greg? Happen to know of any? Paul

You're kinda late. All big hotels around the convention center are full. I managed to get a room at the Hilton (Lanai suite for $150 a night – any "roomate" willing to split?). If you're lucky, try these: Anaheim Hilton (50 feet from the convention center) (714) 750-4321 Anaheim Marriot (across the street from the Hilton) (714) 750-8000 Disneyland Hotel (a couple of blocks away) (714) 778-6600 Others: min max distance (1 = near) Anaheim International Inn (714) 971-9393 59 59 2 Conestoga Hotel (714) 535-0300 79 85 5 Convention Center Inn (714) 740-2500 44 54 1 Double Tree Hotel (714) 634-4500 105 115 5 The Grand Hotel (714) 772-7777 88 94 3 Holiday Inn Anaheim (714) 750-2801 77 84 2 Hyatt Regency Alicante (714) 750-1234 98 108 3 Inn the Park (714) 750-1811 95 95 1 Jolly Roger Inn (714) 772-7621 70 85 2 Pan Pacific Hotel (714) 999-0990 85 85 4 Plaza Hotel (714) 772-5900 82 82 3 Quality Hotel (714) 750-3131 85 85 1 Raffles Inn (714) 750-6100 54 54 2 Sheraton Anaheim (714) 778-1700 99 99 6 Stardust Best Western (714) 774-7600 44 44 6 Travelodge Convention Side (714) 774-8065 55 55 1 Travelodge Maingate (714) 635-6550 55 55 2

Gus, Thanks alot. We'll make some calls this afternoon. We're not super concerned with the distance because we're just there to have fun and I haven't been in the area in almost 8 years. I kinda figured if it takes me a while to get to and from the convention center, I might find interesting things to do along the way. Last year I booked my rooms in Chicago 3 days before the conference, so this year I'm way ahead of schedule. You're certainly a wealth of info! Thanks again, Paul

Gus, I managed to get a couple of rooms through ACM at the Hilton on the Lanai Floor. Is this near you? Paul

Greg & Gus, If you preface each line with a "." CIS will not attempt to join lines together. BTW, it will also remove the preceeding "." when the message is saved. James
