How important or convenient is a CADDY-LESS drive? Should I look for a caddy-less drive? Are there any caddy-less drives <300ms and 2x speed? I also am planning to hook up to an existing Future Domain TMC-810(?) SCSI controller that also has a Syquest 44meg drive presently attached. Does anyone know if this will work? I have been looking at the Chinon 535 280ms 2x drive. Any comments? Any help in finalizing my decision will be extremely appreciated!!!

Richard, I'm not especially fond of the cost, but I really like the convenience of caddies. All other things being equal, I'd certainly buy a caddy-type drive again, especially since competition has cut the caddy price a lot. Ran
