I recently purchased a NEC CDR-84JD-1. I also purchased an audio cable so I
could connect the CD-ROM to my sound blaster pro.
I connected the audio cable from the back of the CD-ROM three prong LINE OUT
connector to the 4 prong sound blaster pro CD IN connector. I have the audio
output jack, in the back of the SB card, connected to some amplified speakers.
CD titles that have sound blaster drivers work just fine. However, I can't get
any sound from CD titles that utilize redbook audio. What's wrong?
