I understand that the Congressional Review can now be purchased on CDROM from
the Government Printing Office. I've tried calling the Washington DC number,
but get nothing but busy signals. Does anyone know if these cdroms are
available from some second source? Or what other materials might be available
on CDROM from GPO?
Larry, There are a few CD-ROM publishers who produce GPO. I don't honestly
know whether they contain congression review records or not. My company,
SilverPlatter Info, produces abstracted bibliographic databases and GPO is one
of 'em. But I can't comment on the actual content. Sorry — I'm a techie!
But I could defintely find the address and phone # for you. Will do tomorrow

The Government is currently producing hundreds of discs in various depts. I
have found the Federal bookstores to be of excellent help in locating titles
from GPO and Census. You can also get some help from your local Congress
person. Once you find the right source in each dept you're ok, but that is
non-trivial.
