I've also moved up to the DRM-604. Pretty well have things working well, but I also came from the DAK/sony world. CDMENU is kindasorta nice for a non-windows application. Have you received an answer as to how to get the multi-drives to work smoother? I'd be interested to know. Thanks, Dave

Dave, I uploaded the new pioneer drivers as ver111.exe in May or early June. Should be in this lib or hardware lib. Things seem to be going fine except now i can't get either motion or sound from Grolliers Multimedia Encyclopedia (for DOS 5) – was able to get motion earlier, but after various config changes, this has disappeared. Otherwise, access to and function of other programs seems fine: SciAmMed, MS Bookshelf, Micrografx Graphics Works (a low-end, multipurpose Windows graphics package), Library of the Future, US and World Atlas (STW), US History on CDROM. Don't have any cdrom games, so can't comment on that aspect. Someone else suggested using a menu program like Norton Commander to "roll your own" cdrom front end – apparently not too difficult (though i haven't tried). Best, –ed

I also found that some disks stopped playing video and sound. For me, I discovered that expanding the environment space helped for some reason. Install SHELL=COMMAND.COM /E:512 /P into config.sys and see what happens. Hope it helps.
