Somebody here in this forum mentioned that your driver should work when you
change the date, so, just to try, I did that. (I allready ordered your driver,
so I don't think that is to bad, is it?) When I rebooted with the changed date,
the driver did get loaded, but gave me the revision as "-?-". I didn't think
that that should be a real problem, but when I tried to play a audio CD,
nothing happened. (The first time I click on the "play" button the busy light
flashes, but that is all) Is this because it was still a beta and thus not
perfect, or is my drive not completely supported? The drive was made in may
1993, the testdrv program gave the right information.
BTW the drivers version is 1.0B5 and I am still using the december beta of OS/2
until my 2.1 GA comes (When I called IBM they told me that it is "in the mail":
standard lie)
