I wonder that myself…I still can't figure out why all three drives I tried
get 'hot spots' where the CD goes after only about 15-30 minutes. Every other
component nearby (even the outside case of the drive) is cool. Well, maybe its
time to invest in a more expensive CD-ROM drive…
I wish I could invest in one, the mitsumi worked out the right price for what I
wanted, under Ideal circumstances I would have got a pioneer multi-cd system,
and fast SCSI-2 controller, but alas in these days of financial constrains
…..
The mitsumi drive unit appears to have no ventilation in the motor unit … I
wonder if it needs some
