Yes, I've read laser3.txt – that's where I got the info on the two upgrades.
However, there's no info on ordering in the UK.
If the Trantor one ($35) is reasonably priced I'd like to get it. If I could
just get the SONY_PF.SYS driver that replaces the SONY_CDU.SYS in CONFIG.SYS,
I'd be willing to do the interrupt installation on the card myself. I'd like to
get a better performance from CorelDraw, Artshow and various other disc
intensive programs. There are also a number of titles I'd like to purchase that
are labelled as MPC products. They _might_ work but I'd rather be sure.
