Jerry, intercepting this thread, and quoting: >>Currently there is no commercial software on the market that I know of which allows for multi platform discs<< I thought that's what Dataware is all about: software which allows creation of multiple formats on same CD-ROM. jay

Jay, I don't have any experience with Dataware but it was my impression that they were getting ready to release a product, not that they had one already. Anyone know for sure?? I'm not a Dataware expert. I do know there are some workarounds to make some of the other software write multiplatform but they're ackward and hard to do. They aren't designed to do it but rather can be tricked into it. Jerry Warner CD Solutions, Inc.

Jerry: I wasn't in on the beginning of this thread, but I can contribute that Dataware has been shipping product since 1987. They were one of the first software houses dedicated to CDROM. You may have heard something about a new product they might be getting ready to release. Best – Rich Bowers

Rich, It was the hybred software of Dataware which I was unaware of. The start of this thread may have scrolled off by now but they hybred issue was the concern/object of discussion. Jerry P.S. I own you a "thanks".

Jerry, Thanks. Dataware's pricing is out of my league, even if they "are" cross-platform. jay
