I'm looking for an economical indexing/retrieval package for putting Engineering articles on CD ROM. It will have to have a search engine which can allow for a Table of Contents as well as key word functions.. Also the ability to retrieve images (schematics, etc..) if needed. I was hoping these could be retrieved by having a highlight word to click on. Windows/Dos for now. Any suggestions. Extreme appreciation in advance Ross

Try Folio Views 3.0 for Windows, just released. I have very good experience with the DOS version (2.1), and the Windows version looks very promising. Also low-cost. GO FOLIO. /Bo

Ross, I just spent a day at a Viewer 2.0 (Microsoft) seminar and I was very impressed with the new version. I have not used it in production yet, but it appeared to be a very powerful Windows product which does all that you ask for and a whole lot more. Run time is royalty free, except for Sony Multimedia Player versions. For an example of what it can do, take a look at MS Encarta, it was produced in Viewer 2.0. Call Microsoft for info. Bud
