I reported a problem to Corel concerning disk #1 of CorelDRAW! 4.0. When I try
to read the disk using a DOS "dir" command, I get an "invalid function" message
with no information at all. All other CD-ROM disks work fine — even
CorelDRAW! 4.0 disk #2. I've tried disk #1 from two different CorelDRAW! 4.0
packages with the same results. I re-loaded the CD-ROM many times to insure
it's sitting correctly in the caddy.
Corel's tech. support says that disk #1 is full (623 Mb), so the problem may be
a hardware limitation in my NEC Intersect Model CDR-73 CD-ROM reader. Can
anybody verify this? What can I do to access this disk?
