#Amiga CD 32!
7 messages in this thread
Hello,
some interesting news (perhaps?):
In the german mail order catalog "Quelle", page 1210, they offer a new
Amiga CD game console.
It is called "Commodore Amiga CD 32". It looks like an ordinary game
console with joypad.
The description tells that it has an 68 EC 020 processor and a 32 bit
graphics accelerator (?), CD ROM drive and digitized 44 kHz stereo sound,
audio CD kompatible.
They sell it for 699 DM, that is around 400 $.

Jirgen,
Is the german mail order catalog an all Amiga magazine?
You quote page 1210!
Thomas
Thomas,
"Quelle" is a general purpose mail order company. So you can order
clothes, toys, and computer articles. The catalog is around 1300 pages
thick.
Besides, do you know how can I change my first name in CompuServe? I
accidently typed in the german "Umlaut" u (it's an u with two dots on top
of it, on non german keyboards you can exchange it with ue), CompuServe
altered it in a vertical line "|".

If you'd like to change your name, just type "opt" at the Forum! prompt.
Steve
From the Forum! prompt, type OPTIONS, select the NAME option from the
menu, and type your name as you want it to appear here. Then, when you
leave OPTIONS, you will be asked if you want the change to be permanent –
and you answer YES. That's all it takes.

Betty,
thanks for your help.

Tom,
it's more the type of an everything-you-could-imagine-for-the-household
style catalog (I think they even sell cars that way…) It's DEFINITELY
not an 'all Amiga magazine'… ;v)
