I have been using Olaf Barthel's excellent Term 3.3 for a few weeks now, having
upgraded from NComm. Very impressed but puzzled by one thing. When I log into
CIS via the direct London node number, the first two log-on instructions (to
select CIS and give my membership number) appear in a garbled format.
Fortunately, I know what they mean and my replies from my keyboard are
recognised because "Password" comes over in straight English. I think I must
have the wrong terminal emulation set (I am using ANSI/VT102), but I have not
found the right one. No real problem because I still get access, but I should
be grateful if someone can explain this to me.
