Hi, I have seen references to a book that is susposed to help you learn Imagine. Is it worth the price and does it flatten the steep learning curve? I'm presently in chapter two of the Imagine manual. Also, I've seen references to some textures that are susposed to be great and may be ported to the PC. If anyone has phone numbers for these two, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ralph Marbach

The Textures and Book are both Available from APex. The books name is "Understanding Imagine 2.0" by Steve Worley and will helpo you ALOT more than the Imagine Manual. The Textures in Question are Essence Volume 1 and 2 also by Steve Worley and another gent who's name escapes me. The Textures have NOT been ported to the IBM/Clone version of Imagine yet but in the last APEX newsletter they said it was being worked on. both the book and Essence I and II are available from Apex Software, 405 El Camino Real Suite 121 Menlo Park, CA 94025 415.322.2059 I have the book and Essence II, both are well worth the money and IMHO indispensible to anyone using Imagine. Give Steve Worley a call, he is a really nice guy with some great products (Glenn Lewis is the coauthor of Essence, and is also a nice guy!) no affiliation with the above, just a satisfied customer. kevin
