CG Font?? TypeSmith

Converting a font to "Compugraphic" in TypeSmith yields a character error. The character "quoteright" (decimal 39), when used in ProWrite, comes out as "ampersand" (decimal 38). This occurred with a home-made font; so I converted a stock font and got same error. If I import the compugraphic font set back into TypeSmith and look at the fonts, they seem correct. A real mystery! Anyone out there with similar experience, or better, an answer. Regards, Rick Geren

Rick: I tested converting a font to CG. The characters are stored in the right position. I'm not sure why you're having trouble with a CG font in ProWrite. Open the font back up in TS and verify the characters are in the right position. (Import the CG font.) Check the font in another program, such as ProWrite. Check it in TS with the Show Compositions toggle off (maybe a composition is used to swap the characters…unlikely, but possible.) Cheers, Michael @ Soft-Logik Publishing Corp.
