Further to Reede's comment in the next message >>6921 Consequently, they should (do, according to Rational) work fine with MPW C++.<< they do indeed work with MPW C++ which is based on CFront. Until Symantec C++ came out with a real compiler MPW was the only game in town. Hurrah fro Symantec!!!. I got the Booch Components almost a year ago as I was seriously getting into C++. I found them to be a good set of container classes and their tools are also useful. I have not used them in a real project to date but they are scheduled for one of our three summer projects this year {which are now under way}. Rational said that they were in the process of completing the v2.0 release but declined to say when they would be having a Mac version. However the source comes with it so you may well be able to tweak it. Bedrock is supposed to use a subset of the Rational Components library according to their published statements. Finally their competition seems to be Rougue Wave software but I have nto seen their offering.
