#What Prog's With 3DS

ALL,
I'm interested in y'alls input regarding other programs that are "GOTAHAVES"
with 3DS (other than AniPro .. of course <g>). I have heard that Corel Draw
brings a lot to the table. I haven't heard much about TIPS. Well .. what
is it … what is (are) that one other program to add to the 3DS/AniPro
system and why?

I've found PixoFoto and PixoFoto Lite (only 24 bit and no color
separation) to be very helpful in editing TGA files. Both programs offer
good paint/image manipulation capabilities and, best of all for me, they
don't require Windows. PixoFoto is around $800 and you can get PixoFoto
Lite for $199, I believe, and for a limited time they will through in a 24
bit card based on the Cirrus 54?? chip with drivers for all Autodesk
products.

HiresQFX is my favourite package for post-production of targa files. At the
moment it does require a targa+ or vista board but they are doing versions
which will work with the new 24-bit vga boards. I use both versions 2 and
3, since 2 had some batchable processes and 3 does not.
