What should I get to convert my images to NTSC signal? I am currently
using an inexpensive external box to convert signals from a Orchid
Pro-designer II to NTSC to a Sony EVO9650. This works fine but I
would really like a truecolor output instead of my current 256
colors. I hate to sound like an uninformed person, but I am. I
thought the Truevision Targa+32 is what I wanted but now I am second
guessing myself. So, here what it comes down to…
My system basics,
486/33
36 Meg ram
Diaquest 232
Sony EVO9650
1. What is a good card to get true color images from 3DS to NTSC signal?
2. How much will this cost (I can spend apx. $1500.00)
3. Can I do all computer work with this one card or do I also need a second VGA
card? (Would prefer to use only one.)
4. Is the quality of this card worth the cost or should I just stick with what
I'm using now?
I would appreciate as much input as possible…
Thanks to all,

Ken,
If all you are willing to spend is $1500, then look no further than the Targa+.
You will have to spend atleast another $500 more for a better card (IllPro
2MB).
