Have you any indications on memory-use. I have the idea that with just 2MB, AVM
together with the MUI-library is using a lot. Is that correct?

I'm uploading AVM 1.32 tonight. The archive includes El Cheapo FAX
software. I'm not sure how much memory AVM uses, but the docs say that it
requires 1 meg of RAM.

Your upload didn't make it to the library as v1.33 was already there.

That's fine. Although once I started to read the docs which
accompanied 1.32, I saw that the "changes" section referred to changes
which had been included in 1.33. My guess is that what I uploaded was
1.33, but Al V had made an error in the file name when he originally
posted it. Just as long as it's there. This really is nice shareware.
And now it works as a convenient front end for El Cheapo Fax, even for
those who have a Class 1 or Class 2 non-voice FAX/modem.

My understanding from looking at it is that it is not a front end for El
Cheapo Fax but is based instead on another fax program. El Cheapo is
Class 2 only, right?

Right you are. The included FAX software wasn't important to me as I
have GPFax so I didn't go into that part of the docs. I remembered Al
commenting that he was exploring ECFax, my eyes saw "EFax" in the docs.
but me brain saw ECFax. Oops.
